The First Edition: The Wisdom of Water
The Wisdom of Water is the first Nidaā event.
Set at Torba Farm, the gathering explores water as a life-sustaining system and a shared concern across ecological, cultural, and ethical contexts. Through a curated sequence of guided experiences, workshops, artistic contributions, and conversation, water is approached through science, artistic practice, sensory engagement, and embodied inquiry.
Rather than defining water’s meaning, the day is designed to offer direct encounters grounded in place, practice, and shared attention.
Date: 31st January 2026
Location: Torba Farm, Qatar
Tickets: Full day - OR - Half-day
About
Nidaā is a curatorial platform for slow, interdisciplinary gatherings.
It creates spaces where knowledge, artistic practice, and embodied experience meet - not to produce answers, but to deepen understanding and attention.
Rather than working within a single discipline, Nidaā brings together voices from ecology, art, research and lived practice. The focus is on how we relate to land, to systems that sustain life, and to one another.
Nidaā is not a series of events. It is an ongoing inquiry.
Each edition centers on a specific element or theme, approached through multiple lenses and experienced over the course of a day. Place is never incidental; the context, landscape, and culture in which a gathering unfolds are integral to its meaning.
At its core, Nidaā is about learning how to listen to environment, to body and to shared experience, and allowing understanding to emerge through attention, presence, and care.
